Dear valued Patients of Romeo Optometry,
We are pleased to let you know that the Ministry of Health has decided not to close any Regulated Health Professionals during the lock down. We are open to serve your eye care needs with extended hours to allow for reduced patient volume and contact.
As instructed by the Ministry, patients are still prioritized based on clinical need. We are providing routine eye care however we encourage high COVID risk patients without symptoms or history of eye disease to defer care for now.
The priority at our clinic is the safety and comfort of our patients, staff and doctors.
The steps we are taking to reduce the risk of
COVID 19 transmission include:

Social distancing measures such as waiting room chairs spaced 6 feet apart

WE ARE PROVIDING SURGICAL MASKS AND ASK THAT ALL PATIENTS CHANGE THEIR MASK UPON ENTERING THE CLINIC

Hand sanitizer stations throughout the office, mandatory at the office door

Staff and doctors must wash their hands before and after every patient encounter

Frequent disinfection of common spaces and high touch surfaces

Thorough disinfection of the exam room between each patient

UV disinfection of every frame tried on by a patient

Temperature checks and COVID Screening for all patients, doctors and staff

Only 2 doctors will be seeing patients at a time with appointments spaced further apart to reduce the number of patients in the office at one time

We ask patients to come alone or with one support person.

Air purifiers and humidifiers have been installed in each exam room.

No patient will be seen without an appointment for clinical or dispensing (eyeglass) services.
